“Increase your Ability to be Empathic”

Healthy, empathic relationships are a key to your success. Empathy is the ability to know, feel and respond compassionately to another person’s feelings. Although we all have the capacity to be empathic; this skill seems to come more naturally to some than others. Empathy is a crucial and powerful component of emotional intelligence which can be learned, developed and enhanced.

It is in feeling felt by another that we truly connect. I worked with two different CEO’s in the past year. Both were exceptional at their jobs yet one was highly empathic and the other was not. Which one do you think had retention problems? Which one led an energetic and healthy culture? Which one had to work harder to motivate his team to accomplish results? What are the skills required to attune to another person?
How do we know that we have accurately tuned into another person’s feelings? What steps need to be taken in order to assure this?
On a larger scale, how do we tune into our consumers needs, wants and tastes?

Equally important to note is that business is happening at hyper speed now. Because of this we can no longer fully rely on the resources we have been taught to rely on. Gathering data, analyzing, time management, conforming, copying, following and agreeing will leave you in the dust! We have innate abilities that allow us instant access to people, ideas, and processes that will enable us as individuals and organizations to attune and flow with the hyper speed in which life is occurring AND we can do this without drain and with deep connection to each other! The ability to tap into Inner Knowing, Intuition, Creativity, Empathy and Personal Energy Levels are the abilities needed to be beyond the edge of today's fast paced and super creative society. These are also the abilities that will enable us to solve most of the world's problems.

I am excited. I have been waiting for the moment when individuals and leaders would recognize the value, power and efficiency of these innate skills that we all possess. Much has been discovered through quantum physics and brain science that verify and validate these powers that we have within us. Abilities such as empathy, intuition, energy level awareness, and alchemy are critical to succeeding in today’s world.

In an effort to increase people’s ability to connect, we have made several additions to our current services.

We are also offering an Emotional Intelligence assessment. This tool which is taken online assesses aspects of your Emotional Intelligence. After watching several videos of professional situations and then recording your responses, a report is developed delivering valuable information on this crucial skill.

Remember: All skills being equal, the factor that separates the average employees from the superstars is one’s level of emotional intelligence. As you move up in your career path, technical skills become less important and your ability to connect and effectively communicate become the determining factor in how far you will go.
